Good Neighbor Newport is a volunteer group of residents who are involved and passionate about the City of Newport Beach. It is a diverse group in terms of age, expertise and politics. This diversity is fundamental to its mission: to be a trusted, objective resource of information and ideas relevant to Newport Beach.
Good Neighbor Newport looks forward to interacting with the residents and businesses of Newport Beach to preserve and protect the health, character, quality of life and integrity of Newport Beach within the guidelines of the General Plan and related governing documents.

To provide a resource of information in support of the fulfillment of the goals, policies and vision statement of the city's General Plan.
Our Vision
We are a trusted, objective resource of information and ideas relevant to the city, with an emphasis on the fulfillment of and adherence to the General Plan. We are utilized by council members, city commissions and committees, organizations, individual residents and businesses in their efforts to preserve and protect the health, character, quality of life and integrity of the city within the guidelines of the General Plan.
It is a small group. We're not a PAC, don't intend to become one. We want to be what we say--a trusted perspective.
